Edinburgh Firsts at Trestle Arts Base

As part of the Festival, Trestle Arts Base will present a week of ‘scratch’ theatre, dance and music performances from a selection of hot young companies from the Eastern Region, preparing to take their shows up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The participating companies have all been selected to be a part of Escalator East to Edinburgh. Escalator is an Arts Council England East initiative which aims to identify, nurture and develop artistic talent throughout the Eastern region. This scheme enables artists to present their work at the International Edinburgh Festival.

These performances are supported by St Albans Festival.
